Founded in 2008 in Union Grove, Wisconsin, Shepherds College is a fully accredited, residential, faith-based post-secondary program designed specifically for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). For nearly 18 years, Shepherds has helped students grow in faith, job readiness, life skills, and personal development in an environment created for them to thrive.
This fall, the Shepherds College Empowered for Life Center will open in Franklin, Tennessee, in partnership with The Village at Church of the City. This two-year commuter program will bring the same mission and vision to adults with IDD in Tennessee.
Our immediate goal is to raise $750,000 to support the staffing, training, equipment, and student recruitment needed to open our doors. Your gift today will help create a new pathway for students to grow in faith, purpose, independence, and belonging.
